A small package costs more per bottle; a big one drops the cost to $4.00–$5.00. The more you buy at once, the more you keep on every bottle you sell.

At a flea market a bottle might sell for $15–$20; on social media or in a salon, $25–$30. The same bottle leaves a different gross margin depending on where and how you present it.

You set your own retail price and keep the difference between it and your wholesale cost. As your volume grows, bigger packages drop your cost per bottle — down to $4.00 — and your margin per bottle widens.
